The five most-asked questions
Why is Ideogram good at text?
Its models were trained with a focus on typography, so short headlines, labels and signage usually render correctly. Long paragraphs can still fail; keep text short and proofread.
What does Magic Prompt do?
Magic Prompt rewrites and expands your prompt with extra detail before generating. Auto decides for you, On always expands, Off keeps your words exactly. Turn it off for precise layouts.
How do style references work?
You upload up to three images and Ideogram borrows their look (colour, texture, rendering) for your prompt. Pair them with a colour palette for a consistent brand set.
Can I control colours?
Yes, choose a palette preset or enter your own hex values. The result stays close to the palette, which is useful for brand work.
What are the rendering speed options?
Turbo is fastest and cheapest, Default balances speed and quality, Quality takes longer for the most refined output. Draft in Turbo and finish in Quality.
