From install to hand-over in seven steps

This is the walkthrough the extension shows on first run. Nothing here is a slideshow: each step is a real action, and the record builds up as you go.

  1. 1

    Install Dreamdrive

Dreamdrive will be in the Chrome Web Store soon. Until then, join the waiting list and we will email you once, when it is ready to install.

Chrome on a computer. Extensions do not run on phones or tablets.

A browser toolbar with the Dreamdrive mark pinned next to the address bar, and an install card.
  2. 2

Sign in with Google, or ask for a code by email. There is no password to remember. Your account is the same on every computer you use.

The sign-in screen: Continue with Google, or an email field and a button that sends a code.
  3. 3

    Connect your AI platforms

One switch per platform. When you turn one on, Chrome asks whether Dreamdrive may read that site; nothing is captured anywhere you have not allowed. Midjourney is captured automatically. Every other platform works through right-click save and file import.

Automatic capture for ChatGPT and Gemini is in beta and off by default.

A list of platforms, each with a switch, and Chrome's permission prompt for the one being switched on.
  4. 4

    Make something

Work as you always do. Each generation appears in the side panel a moment later, with its prompt, model, settings, references and results, filed into the project you have chosen.

Anywhere else: right-click an image and choose “Save to Dreamdrive”, or drop files into the Library.

The Dreamdrive side panel, recording, with a new capture at the top marked Just now.
  5. 5

    Find it in your Library

The Library is the full-page view of everything you have captured, across platforms. Search a word from the prompt, a model, a client or a month, and filter by platform, project, status and date.

The Library with a search typed in and the matching captures from several platforms.
  6. 6

    Create a client project

Give the project a name and a client. Set it as the one you are capturing into, and every new generation lands there. Move older captures in with a click, and mark each one draft, selected, approved or delivered.

Free includes 3 projects. Solo has no limit.

The new project form with a name and a client, next to a list of existing projects.
  7. 7

    Hand it over

Open the project’s usage sheet: per platform, the models used, the plan you declared and a link to its terms, then every approved capture with its prompt, settings and references. Print it, save a PDF, export CSV, share a revocable link, or download the images as a zip with CSV and JSON.

Usage sheets, share links and downloads are part of Solo and the 14-day trial.

An AI usage sheet for one project with buttons to print, export CSV, share a link or download a zip.

That is the whole of it

From then on Dreamdrive keeps the record while you work. Join the waiting list and we will email you once, when it is ready to install.
