The five most-asked questions
What is Phoenix?
Phoenix is Leonardo's own foundation model, strong at following prompts and rendering short text. Other models, including Flux variants, are available alongside it for different looks.
What are Elements?
Elements are style add-ons applied on top of a model with an adjustable weight, and several can be combined. They are the fastest way to lock a consistent look across a set.
How does Image Guidance work?
You upload images and choose how each one should guide the result: Style Reference for the look, Content Reference for composition, Character Reference for a face, plus structural guidance such as edge or depth.
Can Leonardo keep a character consistent?
Character Reference in Image Guidance, combined with a fixed model, Element and seed, keeps a face recognisable across images. Expect to curate; no tool is perfect yet.
How does the Universal Upscaler differ from a normal upscale?
It enlarges and can add detail, with controls for creativity and style. Low creativity stays faithful to the original; high creativity reinterprets, which can change a client-approved image.
