The five most-asked questions
What is Hailuo best at?
Natural human motion and facial expression, which makes it a common choice for character-led clips. It also handles image-to-video from a product or scene still well.
Can I keep the same character across clips?
Yes, with the subject or character reference feature: upload a clear reference and reuse it. Names and limits may differ by version, so check the current interface.
How long are Hailuo clips?
A few seconds per generation, with options that depend on the model version and plan. Build longer pieces by cutting several clips together.
Does Hailuo have a negative prompt?
Some versions expose controls such as prompt optimisation or a negative field; the exact options depend on the model you pick. Keep the main prompt short either way.
Is Hailuo free?
There is a free allowance and paid plans with more credits and faster queues. Check the current pricing page; plans change.
