Dreamdrive vs PromptShifu: Prompt Library or Auto-Save?
Dreamdrive is a free Chrome extension that saves every AI image and video you make, with its prompt, model and settings, as you generate it on supported AI platforms, and lets you right-click to save any picture or video from any website. Everything lands in one searchable library with projects, at full size.
PromptShifu (formerly PromptCat) is, at the time of writing, a free Chrome side-panel extension for saving, organising and inserting prompts: a visual prompt library with tags, templates with fill-in variables, search, web capture and sharing, with one-click insertion into tools such as ChatGPT and Midjourney.
The main difference
PromptShifu starts from the prompt: you build a library of prompts and templates and insert them where you need them. Dreamdrive starts from the result: every generation is saved as it appears, with the prompt and settings that made it. One helps you write; the other helps you remember and find.

When to choose which
- You rewrite the same prompt structures often: a template library such as PromptShifu.
- You lose track of what you generated and which prompt made it: Dreamdrive.
- Both: they do different jobs and can sit side by side in Chrome.
